Thelma Gregg

She was of the Christian faith; a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was the glue that held the family together and was known as Granny to numerous members of the community and each life she touched.

Survivors include eight children and spouses: Carroll and Janice Gregg, Linda Gregg, Shirley Gregg, Alice and L.D. Crum, Bruce and Dora Gregg, Dennis and Susan Gregg, Kathy Henry, and Lucy and Johnny Davis; grandchildren: Darlene Gregg, Malinda Stills, Joe Coleman, Jesse Coleman, Adam Price, Robin Smith, James Hill, Eddie Gregg, B.J. Gregg, Felicia Gregg, Lindsey Gregg, D. J. Gregg, Hunter Henry, Erik and Derek Ottinger, Kaitlin Davis, and Lucas Davis; great grandchildren: Crystal Souphannavong, Tony Souphannavong, Codie Coleman, Haley Harmon, Amanda Vance, Carly Ann Price, Zachary Price, Allison Smith, Seirra Crum, Hanna Hall, Izaiah Hall, Tyler Laws, Trevor Gregg, Taylor Gregg, Aubrii Gregg, Hayden Gregg; four great-great grandchildren; brother: Vance Stills of Warsaw, Indiana; one sister: Phyllis Hensley; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Thomas and Mary Ellen Stills; husband: Fred E. Gregg; grandchildren: Charlene Gregg and Marty Hicks; six brothers and five sisters: Arnold Stills, Bill Stills, Cliff Stills, John Stills, Joe Stills, Ralph Stills, Carrie Humphries, Flossie Tweed, Alberta Riddle, Lois Ayers, and Eudema Franklin.

The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Buster Shelton and Rev. Ralph Hensley officiating.

Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in Mt. Olive Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Joe Coleman, Codie Coleman, Hunter Henry, B.J. Gregg, Brandon Hurd, Justin Smith, and D.J. Gregg.

Honorary pallbearers are Jesse Coleman, Eddie Gregg, Junior Gregg, Dr. Michael O’Dell and staff and the staff of Amedisys Hospice.
