She was of the Christian Faith and a former employee of Food Lion and Heritage Bank.
Teresa is survived by one sister, Dee Shores (Ronnie) Starnes; nephews, Josh Shores and Heath Starnes; nieces, Ashley (Josh) Morgan and Brandy (Brian) Key; great nieces and nephews, Nolan Shores, Karson Starnes, Kyndall Mathes Starnes, Isaiah Morgan, Asher Morgan, Bryleigh Key, and Dustin Key; an aunt, Darnell Tolliver; and several cousins.
She is preceded in death by her father, Alvin Shelton; mother, Prescillia Lou Weems; sister, Dana Rhea Shelton; fiancé, Jeff Valentine and grandparents, Hobert Shelton and Clomer and Ethel Weems; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends at 4-7pm on Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow at 7pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Richard Long officiating.
The family states Teresa was a loving sister and aunt and will be missed by all.
The family would like to express special thanks to Dr. Christopher Brian Gong and the whole crew at Greeneville Family Practice, Adoration Home Health, Ballad Hospice, and all other caregivers that took care of her.
