Shirley Jean Jennings, age 84 of the South Central community, passed away December 27, at the Johnson City Medical Center.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years: William (Bud) Jennings; sons and daughter-in-law: Randy Jennings and Timmy and Beverly Jennings; her pride and joy, granddaughter: Katelyn Jennings; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her infant son: Teddy Jennings; her parents: Porter and Daisey Harrison; brothers: Hubert and Clifton “Tippy” Harrison; a sister: Ruth Reed, brother and sister-in-law: David and Tursey Jennings; and a sister-in-law: Florence Johnson.
The funeral service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Kent Stills and Rev. Jerry Hopson officiating. Interment will be at Mountain View Disciples of Christ Cemetery following the service.
Nephews will be pallbearers.
