Shirley Gene Davis

She was a great lady who loved everyone.

She retired from Magnavox. In retirement she enjoyed flowers and her pet cat.

Survivors include a daughter: Tammy Deyton and her fiancé, Wesley Watkins, both of Greeneville; three sons and a daughter-in-law: Tim and Lori Davis, Eddie Davis and Teddie Davis, all of Greeneville; grandchildren: Dallas Deyton, Ashley Deyton, Kyra Davis, Seth Davis, Aundra Davis and Terran White Davis and Rachael Cutshaw; a great grandchild whom she dearly loved: Aiden Davis; her fiancé: Lonnie Copp of Afton; sisters and brothers-in-law: Sudie and William Smith, Barbara and James Wilhoit, all of Greeneville; two brothers and a sister-in-law: Tom and Marlene Nelson of Afton, Harold Nelson of New York.

She was the daughter of the late William and Gladys Norton Nelson. She was also

preceded in death by a brother, Robert Douglas Nelson.

The funeral service will be held at 8 pm Thursday, August 29, 2013, at Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Jeff Daugherty

officiating. Interment will be 10 am Friday at River Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Donnie Wilhoit, Ronnie Wilhoit, Jackie Wilhoit, Dallas Deyton, Teddie Davis, Eddie Davis.

The family will receive friends 5-8 pm Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
