Shirley J. Campbell

She was retired from Magnavox and attended New Haven Church. She was a member of Modern Woodman of the World, Moose Lodge # 692 and Chuckey Ruritan Club.

Shirley is survived by one son and fiancée, Terry Campbell and Audra Slusser; three daughters and one son-in-law, DiAnn Tenorio of Fort Worth, Texas, Teresa Roten and husband Stefan Roten of Greeneville, and Karen Sams of Greeneville; grandchildren, MaBie Jo Gibbs, RayAnn Long and husband Cory all of Fort Worth, Texas, Jason Bowman and wife Hilary, Derek Sams and wife Chelsea of Greeneville, Brian Campbell and wife Jessica of Unicoi, Jeremiah Campbell and wife Emily of Jonesborough and Terry Lynn, Jr. of Greeneville; several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was the daughter of the late John Garland Adams and Minnie Viola Hardin Adams. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Ray Campbell; sisters, Lena Mae Malone, Linda Lane and Janie McCamey; brothers, Harold Adams, Archie Adams and John Wayne Adams as well as an infant brother, Link Adams.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5 – 7 pm at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7 pm in the Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Brian Campbell and Rev. Jerry Campbell officiating.

Interment will be on Sunday at 11 am in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10:15 am to go in procession to the cemetery.

Pallbearers are Derek Sams, Jeremiah Campbell, Justin Adams, Jonathan Adams, Jason Bowman and Jerry Strom.

Honorary pallbearers are Ricky Smith, Michael Smith, Eddie Nicodemus, and Dr. Charles Montgomery.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Smokey Mountain Hospice and her caregivers, Amy Hinnen, Rachel Thompson and Jenny McCamey for their loving care during Mrs. Campbell’s illness.
