Shelby Jean Gosnell

She was a member of Mt. Bethel Free Will Baptist Church and was retired from Five Rivers.

She is survived by her sons: Glenn (Lisa) Gosnell and Randy Gosnell; daughter: Pam Gosnell; grandchildren: Rachel Gosnell, Jordan Tarlton, Barret Gosnell; great grandchildren: Kendall Turner, Carter Wallen; several nieces, nephews and cousins; dear friends: Alberta Ricker, Shirley Norton and Lula Belle Cutshaw.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Gosnell; son, Nathan Gosnell; parents, John and Nina Sams; brothers, Carmen Grover Sams, Ray Sams; half-brothers: Vivan Stanton and Pastel Stanton.

The family will receive friends Friday 4:00 – 7:00 pm at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 pm Friday in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Dwayne Steele and Rev. Chris Washam will officiate.

Interment will be held Saturday at 2:00 pm at Piney Grove Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 1:00 pm to go in procession to the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Gary Sexton, Mike Sams, Derrick Gosnell, Jody Gosnell, Eddie Darnell, Keith Johnson.

Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
