She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Luttrell was a member of First Church of God.
She accepted Christ at a very young age. He had been her strength constantly and was a personal friend. Mrs. Luttrell had been a worker in her church for many years, beginning as the Cradle Roll Director and holding many different positions. For many years she taught the Ladies' Sunshine Class, which was a great joy and blessing to her.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law: Tommy Luttrell, Jerry and Jennifer Luttrell, Ronnie and Jeannie Luttrell, Steve and Linda Luttrell, all of Greeneville; grandsons: Matthew Luttrell and Aubrey Lee; granddaughters: Annie Luttrell and Jessica Bragg; a great granddaughter: Carlie Lee; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Jim and Wendy Luttrell of Georgia, Pete Luttrell, Louise Parman, Joyce McCracken and Imogene Luttrell; and several special cousins.
She was the daughter of the late Frank and Lillie Jane Conduff Bowers and was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, T. O. Luttrell, Jr.; a grandson, Jeremy Grant Luttrell; one sister, Emma Dean Vaughn; a brother, Fox Bowers; and a nephew, Gene Vaughn.
The funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, February 4, 2013, in the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Darrell Sovine and Pastor Gerald Rudd officiating.
Interment will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, at Andrew Johnson National Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home, to go in procession to the cemetery for the committal service.
Pallbearers will be Arthur Ricker, Jr., Lynn Boswell, Ronnie Clark, Eddie Humphreys, Lanny Parman, Dan Luttrell and Phil Waddell.
Her special, loving friends will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family will receive friends 4-7 p.m. Monday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Building Fund of First Church of God, 1505 West Main Street, Greeneville, TN 37743; or the Locust Springs Retreat Center, 200 Bailey Lane, Greeneville, TN 37745.
