He was retired from Miller Industries and a member of First Baptist Church of Greeneville.
Sam was a kind hearted man that everybody loved.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years: Kathleen Goodwin; two daughters: Darlene Gauthier and Sherrie Pergola; seven step-children: Joseph, Robert, Danny, Sheila, Kathleen, Kevin and Michael; a brother: Jim Goodwin of Chuckey; and two sisters: Sandra and Pat of Oregon.
Services will be held at a later date.
