She was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Ruble was a housewife and a retired employee of Jostens in Illinois.
Survivors include her sister-in-law, Martha Franklin, and several nieces and nephews.
For the last few years, she was taken care of by two of her nieces, Brenda Jean Harrison of Kingsport and Phyllis Jane Ricker of Greeneville, and a very special caregiver, Becky Phillips.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, John S. Ruble; her father, W. B. Franklin; mother: Maggie Lamb Franklin; three brothers: Leslie Franklin, James Franklin, and Atman Franklin; two sisters: Fannie Spears and Mary Wilhoit; and a very special pet: Tippy.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 5, 2016, at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens with Rev. Hubert Metcalf officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at 1:45 pm Saturday at the cemetery for the graveside service.
