Mrs. Bailey was a homemaker.
She was a charter member of Limestone Free Will Baptist Church.
She died peacefully at home with her family by her side. She loved her family and her husband and shared most of her time with them. She is in her new home and Daddy is showing her all around Heaven.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law: Harold Lee and Betty Bailey of Jonesborough; daughter and son-in-law: Anna B. and Jerry T. Broyles of Chuckey; granddaughter: Teresa Haney of Kingsport; two grandsons: Keith Broyles of Chuckey and Harold Bailey, Jr. of Jonesborough; great grandchildren: Jackie Bailey of Jonesborough and friend Skip Bricky of Limestone, Kendell Broyles of Chuckey, and Alyssa Broyles of Chuckey; great-great granddaughter: Avery Jamie Broyles; sister-in-law: Jackie Bailey of Jonesborough; several nieces and nephews; and her furry friend: Pixie.
She was the daughter of the late Grover C. and Axie Wyatt and was preceded in death by her husband of 74 years: Elmer Bailey who passed away December 6, 2013; three sisters: Marie Painter, Luster Seaton, and Ruth Painter; and a brother: Fred Wyatt.
The family will receive friends from 5pm-8pm Saturday at Limestone FreeWill Baptist Church and at other times at her late home in Limestone.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8pm Saturday at the church with Rev. Tim Roach and Rev. John Buchanan officiating.
Interment will be at 2pm Sunday in Philadelphia Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Keith Broyles, Harold Bailey Jr., Kendell Broyles, Cleve Painter, Tilman Seaton, and Skip Bricky.
Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Joseph Scott and Smokey Mountain Home Health and Hospice.
