She retired as a food aide with the Greene County School System.
She was a member of Christian Heritage Church.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Byrl Lee and Linda Fann and Bobby and Darlene Fann; sixteen grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; a half-brother: Thomas Laughlin Shelton; and several nieces and nephews including a special niece: Frances Shelton Ricker.
She was the daughter of the late Cephus and Jessie Greenaway Shelton and was preceded in death by her husband, Byrl Jefferson Fann; six children: Michael Fann, Eugene Fann, Lyle Fann, Kyle Fann, Patsy Hartman, and an infant daughter; two grandchildren: Byrl Fann, Jr. and Elisa Fann Bolton; and a brother and sister-in-law, Chester and Louise Shelton.
The family will receive friends 12-2 pm Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 2 pm Satin the funeral home chapel with Rev. Richard Tittle and Rev. Robert Beach officiating.
Interment will follow in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family wished to express a special thanks to the staff of Quillen Rehabilitation Center, the staff of Johnson City Medical Center, the LPN’s and CNA’s of Station One- 400 at Lakebridge Health Care Center, the Home Healthcare staff for their loving care and also to our Piney Grove FWB Church family in Johnson City for all of their prayers.
