He was self-employed in construction work.
Mr. Broyles was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Dwayne and Amanda Broyles of Afton, with whom
Ray made his home; Jeff and Kelly Fox of Greeneville; stepdaughter: Patches Barnett of Greeneville;
six grandchildren: Dristian, Keairra, Lacoda and Jocey Broyles, Hunter and Autumn Fox; three sisters and a brother-in-law: Faye Mitchell of Jonesborough, Flo and Gary Bailey of Mosheim, Patsy Broyles of Greeneville; an aunt: Bopeep Holt of the South Central Community; an uncle: Pete Waddle and wife, Jessie, of Mosheim; and several nieces and nephews including a special nephew: Kenny Broyles.
He was the son of the late Earl and Boots Broyles and was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Watts Broyles, and a sister, Kathy Broyles Stamper.
The family will receive friends 1-3 pm Sunday (March 12, 2017) at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
A memorial service will follow at 3 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ronnie Duncan officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
