Phyllis Marie Johnson

She retired from Magnavox and was a member of Jearoldstown United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a nephew: Michael Southerland of Greeneville; niece and husband: Myra and David Mathes of Chuckey;

nephews and wives: Stan and Tammy Southerland of Parrottsville and Lyndell and Tami Southerland of Sullivan County;

great nieces and husbands: Kerry and Kenny McFarland of Bulls Gap and Allie and Chris Long of Greeneville;

great nephews and wife: Dustin and Mandy Belt of Gray, Cal Southerland of Sullivan County, and Austin Southerland of Parrottsville; a brother-in-law: Claude Southerland of Chuckey; special friend: Faye Dean Bright of Chuckey and Jason Baines of Greeneville; great-great nephew: Ryan McFarland of Bulls Gap; and a great-great niece: Jillian McFarland of Bulls Gap.

She was the daughter of the late Thomas Paul and Clarice Johnson and was preceded in death by her sister: Shelby Southerland; and a great niece: Megan Southerland.

The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 8pm Tuesday, November 5, 2013, in the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Richard Bowers officiating.

Interment will be 1pm Wednesday at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her nephews and friends.
