Patricia Lee Hanna Brown departed from her temporary home to join Heaven’s angels on July 26, 2024, at the age of 81. Patricia was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved her family unconditionally and was their biggest cheerleader, all throughout her life. Patricia enjoyed hosting Sunday dinners, dancing in her kitchen, and tending to her meticulously kept flower gardens.
Patricia was an active member of First Baptist Church Greeneville where she thoroughly enjoyed attending church services, events, and club meetings. Her love and devotion to the Lord was evident in her lifestyle and displayed in how well she loved others. Patricia will be deeply missed, but is now rejoicing in her Heavenly home.
Patricia leaves behind her husband of 65 years, Fred Stanley Brown, children Teresa (Monte) Massongill, Ronnie (Renee) Brown, and Ginia (Brad) Johnston, grandchildren Christina (Landon) Anderson, Patrick (Ashley) Johnston, Monte (Logan) Massongill, Hayden (Brittani) Johnston, Anna (Logan) Teetz, Alyssa Johnston, and Halston Brown, sister Debbie (Travis Eskew), 18 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and beloved family friends.
Patricia was met at the heavenly gates by her beloved son, Jimmy Brown, her parents, Max and Virginia Curtis and Harry Hanna, her grandmother Elliot, her little brother, Butch Hanna, and his wife, Pat Hanna.
Patricia’s favorite bible verse was Phillipians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ that gives me strength.” She lived this verse out daily and displayed the utmost amount of strength throughout her lifetime. What a legacy and reminder she leaves behind for all of her family to remember.
The family will receive friends 1:00-3:00 pm Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Greeneville with the funeral service to follow at 3:00 pm. Rev. Joey Tillery and Rev. Dr. David Green will officiate.
Interment will then be conducted at Cross Anchor Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Patrick Johnston, Hayden Johnston, Monte Massongill, Halston Brown, Logan Teetz, and Landon Anderson.
