I was thinking about her and thought I would look up her address when an obituary popped up. I was taken by surprise as this was not something I wanted to see. She and the entire Fillers and Cutshall families were friends and neighbors back in the 1950s . We were kids and she and her sisters and brothers left impressions on us. The boyfriends that visited and the boys shenanigans and Sammy's health and surgeries. I can't forget Butch. It has been such a long time but I love that family My sistersstill talk about them so I guess if your ears are itching it was only us. I am so sorry I missed sending you a note but just know you all are still in our hearts . I send our deepest condolences and so sorry for your loss.

The love and caring Charlotte had for everyone was unsurpassed.
 She always made me feel special and also made Elizabeth feel  welcomed into the family, loved and special too.

I wish peace for all the family and know we all are so sad as we loved Charlotte very much.  



There are no words to describe the sorrow I felt, and continue to feel, upon hearing the news of Miss Charlotte's passing. In here presence, I always felt loved and at ease. She cannot be replaced. She was one of a kind. Mike and Doug, you have my deepest condolences. 

Charlotte was a great example of a virtuous woman who was consistently sweet to all. She was always welcoming in her home and a perfect hostess. Her leaving us too soon is a loss to her family, the church, and the community.  She was a great mother to Mike and Doug and grandmother to their families She was looking bed by all including my Uncle Lloyd who is and will miss her. 

There are not enough words to express what a wonderful person Charlotte was!!  If you had a need for a prayer to be said you knew beyond a shadow of a doubt you could count on her to pray!!  She was a great hostess. I enjoyed many a great meal at her table. If you needed help in a particular ministry Charlotte was your person (Woodcutters Food Ministry)!! She was supportive to those who had lost loved ones in their life. When my mom was in her last days I could always count on Charlotte to pray and check in on us.  She leaves a hole in my heart and I wonder who’s going to fill her shoes!!  Her legacy will be an encouragement to me to strive to encourage others!!  Love - your little sister!!

Steve was our Sunday School teacher for many years in the nineties. We would have class meetings from time to time and a lot of them would be at Steve and Charlotte's home. She was the greatest hostess. If you left hungry, it was your own fault. Those times were some of the best times in our lives. Charlotte was surely a woman after God's own Heart. May God give peace, comfort and strength to the family. I know they really have something to go to Heaven for now.

Charlotte, I simply say thank you.  Thank you for being who you were, for showing us that two people, you and Steve, could love and live life to the fullest, despite challenges and tribulations and the occasional bucking horse.  Thank you for sticking to your principles, for living your virtues, for demonstrating the rewards that come from honesty, forthrightness, and steadfast devotion to your church community. And thank you for your sense of humor and for always giving a warm hug and a smile whenever I returned to town.  You and Steve were appreciated more than you may have known.  Well done!

Oh my, what to say!  She was sooo much!  Such a light & blessing!  She will be missed big time!  I thought of her as younger than me, though she wasn't....in actual birthdays.

Joy and the light of the Lord shone from  within Charlotte. Never did I see her waver. The trust she had that God would see her and others through every detail was unwavering. I count it a blessing to have met her. She is going to be greatly missed,

Charlotte was a one-of-a-kind lady!  She and Steve left a lasting impression on me when I was growing up. They were my Sunday School teachers and would often invite me to go home with them after church. They taught me how to ride horses and how to treat others with kindness and caring.  Charlotte was the light of our life  most  every weekend. 
 Camping,riding horses in the mountains, never a dull moment around Charlotte.   When Steve would say or do  something he should not, she would say " now Stevie". We  miss those times and Charlotte  often talked about them.  We loved her dearly.

Michael, Doug, Dixie and grandchildren,  Charlotte has been such a special and dear friend to me for many years, always so giving, loving and caring.  She truly made an impact on my life by letting the Light of Jesus shine through her life......such sweet memories of her kind deeds.   Love and sympathy to all.

She is a loving, positive, Godly woman who always told me, “I was a good little mamma doing a  great job.”  Even when I didn’t feel like I was. She was a bright light, who gave me a hug, sent me a card, had a word just at the right time, never said anything negative and was SO full of energy. I am sad and I will miss her but what a way to go to heaven. She was a woman I aspire to be. Look down on me from heaven  and guide me with your angel wings my sweet Aunt. I love you!

I am so sorry for the Wilson family, Charlotte was a really “SPECIAL” lady and was so kind to everyone.  Charlotte always had a smile on her face when you saw her. She will be greatly missed.😢

I met Charlotte back in the 70's when I was teaching at Greene County Skills.  When I started attending First Church of God in the early 90's, she was one of the first to greet me and welcome me.   She truly was a godly woman to be admired.  She leaves behind a legacy of real love in action.  Prayers for her family.
