I have so many wonderful memories with Mel. Especially when we were young hanging out at her house and riding bikes. She was a true friend. Her generous heart and kindness knew no limits. I feel so blessed to have called her my friend all these years. I will miss her dearly.  Till we meet again...

It still is hard for me to imagine you are gone. Many memories from back in the day. A 4H camp memory stands out to me from when we worked at ComCare. Much love and many prayers for your family as they deal with you not being here.

One of the more recent memories of us was when I came home to visit back in June of 2019. I live in Ohio so when I come “home” to TN I try to see Beth, Mel and Brandi. That day Beth, Jordan, Melody and Mason came over to swim at my mom’s pool. We all had a lot of fun. They got to hang out with my kids, James and Riley. I think it was the first time Mel and Beth had met her. I didn’t know if everyone had eaten so I offered to make some hotdogs and mac and cheese for the kiddos. Now, in my house, I’m embarrassed to say, my husband is the cook. I make a pretty mean breakfast and ham and cheese sandwich for lunch with fruit and veggies for the kids. This time, however, I was cooking in front of old friends and I was a bit nervous. I mean, if I go by a recipe or the instructions on a box I’m ok but I think Mel sensed I might need some help! I get a bit flustered if I’m being watched I guess! Here I am trying to be the hostess and she just giggled and offered to help. Suffice to say I let her and I felt relieved. She thought it was hilarious that I had to look at the instructions for mac and cheese. I’m really glad I made her laugh that day! I am so thankful for her friendship through the years. Love you, Melody.

Melody was a sweet cousin, we have shared alot of memories as we grew up.
One thing we had in common was our giggle box that got us in trouble few times.
Prayers and hugs for Jordan and Aunt Barbara and her siblings and extended family. ❤ she will be missed.

I don't know where even to begin.  All these memories flood in my head.  The laughs, the tears, the secrets through childhood shared.  No matter how busy we were in 36 years within a snap of a finger we were there for each other when good or bad times hit.  My prayer is everyone  has that with a friend.  I still do . Its just out journeys are in a different place.  I am and always will be here for your family.  And for everyone that loves you.  Loved is past tense. Love is not past.

Melody, my sweet dear sister that I loved wholeheartedly!!!! I was just a young girl when you and my brother got together. You were always so sweet to me then and included me in everything possible. I’ll never forget that. You truly were the life long sister that I never was given by blood. Everytime I had a heartbreak in my life I ran to you because I knew you could comfort me. I am sure you probably thought it was because of my brother but no! I came to live with you because you were so special to me and made me feel loved! As I got older we grew really close. You could tell me things you couldn’t tell anyone else and I could you as well! You will always hold a special place in my heart! And it’s killing me that you aren’t here anymore! I will love you  always and will hold you in my heart forever!

I really got to know Melody when Jordan & Kaitlin first started taking dance lessons together.  We sat and talked during many dance classes and didn’t realize until dance recital when her dad (Linton) and my Mom (Thelma) spotted each other that we were family. We had been to many Stills reunions together and didn’t realize till that moment. I was happy to gain another cousin! Melody was always so sweet and kind to me. Her bright smile lite up the room. I am so sorry for the loss to her family my thought and prayers are with you all.

Sweet, Sweet friend. I am so saddened to hear of you leaving this world. You had such a beautiful heart. You will never be forgotten. Thanks for showing kindness and empathy , always. 

Mel was like a second mom to me these past 10 years that I’ve known her. She was such a down to earth person and would’ve done anything for anyone. I will forever cherish all the times she was on mine and Jordan’s butt for staying up too late on school nights and giggling all night long, sneaking to decorate her office with Jo the day before her birthday, and all the Dollywood trips she took us on. We were always having a blast when we were together. Say hi to my Daddy up there Mel🙏🏼 I will miss you so very much. 

Melody was a wonderful person and a great mother. She was always involved with her children's school activities and sports and worked full time. She was a great friend and will be deeply missed. She was the greatest Aunt to my grandchildren Lydia  Jade and Christopher  Aderian II . She has always been a great support to me and my family and she never judged a book by its cover. So sorry Jordie and Mariah  for your loss. 

My heart goes out to the family. Melody was a very kind women. I worked at Comcare for 7 years and would need Melodys assistants with payroll from time to time. Always helping with no complaints. She will be missed.
May God watch over her family at this time of need.

Prayers for Jordan, Barbara, and the family. Im so blessed to have met melody. Melody and all has treated me like theirs from day one. I never saw melody that she didnt have a smile on her face,  even if she was having a bad day. Melody is so loved by so many. She was a very special person and will always be remembered.

I worked with Melody at Comcare.  She took over Payroll  when I left. She was a hard worker and loved the residents of Comcare. I have known her family for years and they are the nicest family one could ever know. Her Dad and Mom raised her with values that Melody was known for. Rest in Peace precious one.

Barbara and Family, I know I can utter no words that will ease your pain, but I wanted to reach out and let y'all know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.  I worked with her many years and she was always kind and professional and helpful to me.  Her illness is over now , and she is at peace I have no doubt.  God bless each one of you.  

Danny and I were sad to hear about Melody. We pray that God will give the family comfort. 

So sorry to hear of this. I worked with Melody many years ago at ComCare. She was ALWAYS such a happy and pleasant person. Thoughts and prayers with the family.

Melody will always be loved by many.  I remember when I first met her mother, Barbara, and how proud Barbara was of her daughter.  Her smile always brightened the room.  May God hold you tight during these times and know she will never be forgotten.
