She was retired, a member of Union Baptist Church in Hampton and a member of Vanderbilt Transplant Team.
Melissa is survived by a daughter, Alyssa Grindstaff (Joshua McMurray); and her grandson, Cole McMurray; a brother, Mike Pressinell; her sister, Jessica Pressinell; her mother, Mary Atwood; an aunt, Glenda Norris; her ex in laws, Percy and Carolyn Grindstaff; also surviving are special friends, Priscilla Hill, Karyn Shipley and many other friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her father Bill Pressinell; grandparents, Fate and Lockie Oliver and Guy Pressinell.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1 – 3 pm at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. The Memorial Service will follow at 3 pm in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. James Bentley officiating.
