Mattie Faye Long

She had owned and operated her own beauty shop and was a member of Colonial Heights United Methodist Church in Kingsport.

She is survived by a daughter: Jane Miller and loving spouse, Jarrell; son: Freddrick Long; daughter-in-law: Sharon Long; grandchildren: Karen Sartain, Susan Reynolds, Tracy Frevold, Todd Long, Kristi Long, Freddrick Long; sisters and brother: Margaret Creasman, Fleeta Jayne, Don Lane, all of Kingsport; twelve great grandchildren; and a special friend: Jenny Worley.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years: Hubert Long, Sr., and a son: Hubert (Junior) Long.

Special appreciation is extended to the staff at Life Care Center of Greeneville.

There will be no formal visitation. Family and friends are asked to meet at 2 p.m. Friday at Holston View Cemetery in Weber City, Virginia for a graveside service. Rev. Bob Cloud will officiate.

Her pallbearers are Seamus Reynolds, Steve Sartain, Cameron Chapman, Ed Miller, and Steve Conner.
