She was retired from Glen Hills Utility District.
Mrs. Blake was of the Methodist tradition of faith.

She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law: Sharon “Shari” and Claude Carter of Chuckey; one grandson and spouse: Bryan and Aileen Carter of Johnson City; a brother and sister-in-law: Gene and Dema Jeffers of Bulls Gap; three sisters: Jackie Everhart of Greeneville, Shirley Jeffers and Voreta Jeffers, both of Mosheim; two sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law: Lynn Shepherd of Greeneville; June Blake of Chuckey; H. E. “Bud” Blake of Cincinnati, Ohio; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ulys E. Blake; her parents, Jacob F. and Pearl Frye Jeffers; sisters, Lucille Farris, Pauline Cox, Mildred Jeffers, Patricia Jeffers, and an infant sister.
The funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 18, 2011, in the Kiser Rose Hill Chapel. Rev. Keith Williams will officiate. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, at Andrew Johnson National Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Gary Cox, Michael Shepherd, Doug Blake, Freddie Blake, Randy Jeffers, Scott Jeffers, Shane Malone, Alan Hicks, and Glenn Carter.
Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Everhart, the staff of Durham-Hensley Health and Rehabilitation, and Charlotte McCarty.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at Kiser Rose Hill Funeral Home. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery for the committal service.
