He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. He loved his church family and his Sunday school class.
Marc was an avid sports enthusiast; he enjoyed coaching any kind of ball, especially baseball. He also loved traveling to watch sports games. Marc was always laughing and smiling, he could find humor in any situation. He was a loving husband, father, brother, son and friend.
Survivors include his very loving wife: Canda’ce Marshall Brooks; two daughters: Ava Kate Brooks and Amber Nicole Brooks and fiancé, Dustin Long; mother and stepfather: Peggy and Jack Bryant; father: Wayne Brooks; two brothers: Jason Brooks and Shawn Brooks; a sister: Jeanine Franklin; nephew: Heith Franklin; nieces: Brooks Franklin and Alyssa Burkey; and many, many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold and Carrie Brooks and Donnie and Elisha Shelton; a brother, Charles Wayne Brooks, Jr.; and a brother-in-law, Terry Franklin.
The family will receive friends 4-7 pm Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 7 pm Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor David Fox and Rev. Dannie Bell officiating.
Interment will be at 3 pm Sunday in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at 2 pm Sunday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Sammy Brooks, Keith Reaves, Byran Johnson, Nick Fillers, Camren Marshall and Justin Wheeler.
