She retired from Broyles Feed Store.
Mrs. Wright was a member of Reformation Lutheran Church.
She loved gardening and cooking. She always loved being helpful to others.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law: Chris and Debbie Wright of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Don and Barbara Wright of Greeneville; daughter and son-in-law: Christy and Steve Foulks of Douglasville, Georgia; grandchildren: Jacob Wright, Joseph Wright, Nicholas Wright, and Samuel Wright, all of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Logan Foulks and Morgan Foulks of Douglasville, Georgia, Barry and Amanda Wright and Donna Hopson of Greeneville, and Dawn and Joel Troy of Johnson City, Tennessee; great grandchildren: Kendra Hopson and Eady Wright of Greeneville and Jalen Troy of Johnson City; brother and sister-in-law: Clyde and Lucille Peters of Greeneville; sisters and brother-in-law: Polly and Jack Wykle of Greeneville, and Norma Jean Adams of Maryville, Tennessee; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and special friends: Ann and Doris of Greeneville.
She was the daughter of the late Walter and Laura Elizabeth Peters and was preceded in death by her husband: Jakie D. Wright; and a sister: Brenda Brown.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 6, 2012 at Reformation Lutheran Church. The body will be taken to the church to lie in state for 30 minutes preceding the funeral service. Rev. Rick Ohsiek and Rev. Lynn Mercer will officiate.
Interment will follow in Andrew Johnson National Cemetery.
Her pallbearers will be Tim Peters, Terry Wykle, Barry Wright, David Wykle, Morgan Foulks, and Steve Kinser.
