Lola Moore Nance

She was a homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband: Marvin Nance; four sons: Walter Moore Jr. and wife Janice, Jimmy Moore and wife Melissa, Donald Moore and wife Lisa, Marlin Moore and wife Kim all of Greene county; two daughters: Lisa Pitts and husband Edward, Nancy Mullins and husband Lee, both of Greene county; one stepson: Billy Nance and wife Sheree of Greene county; two stepdaughters: Betty Nance and fiancé Mike Coggins, Mabel Tittle and husband Ricky all of Greene county; several grandchildren and great grandchildren including a special great grandson: Justin McGhee; one sister: Pearl Landers; one brother: Eugene Mercer; half-sister: Helen Byers of NC and several nieces and nephews.

She was the daughter of the late Earnest and Nannie Dockery Mercer. Lola was preceded in death by her first husband: Walter Moore, her second husband: Carl Moore, one son: Robert Moore, two brothers: Paul Mercer and Robert Mercer and two sisters: Louise Nance and Lois Shelton.

The family will receive friends from 5-7pm on Tuesday and Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 7:00 pm with Rev. Buster Shelton and Rev. Mark Dickerson officiating.

The graveside service will be held at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens at 1:00 pm Thursday. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home Thursday at 12:00 to go in procession to the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Marlin Moore, Jimmy Moore, Billy Nance, Allen McGhee, Shawn Stafford and David Jarnigan.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Frankie Moore, Scottie Moore, Jordon Moore, and Jonathan Moore.

Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
