She retired as a CNA from Life Care Center of Greeneville.
Mrs. Fann attended Mosheim Missionary Baptist Church as long as her health permitted.
Survivors include a daughter: Kathy Sutton of Chuckey; a son and daughter-in-law: Gary and Rhonda Fann of Greeneville; grandchildren: Scott Sutton of Chuckey, Amber Garay-Leon and husband, Sean, Lance Fann and wife, Brandy, and Heath Fann, all of Greeneville; great grandchildren: Hannah Jones, Aaron Young, Hope Garay-Leon, Bailey Fann and Mason Surrett Fann; very special niece and husband who were also her caregivers: Susie and Andy Foulks; step grandchildren: Jessica Naples, Jonathan Naples; step great grandchildren: Stephen and Stephanie Garay-Leon, Scarlette Peters, Dezman Naples; a devoted and loving sister: Mary Hicks; sisters-in-law: Alice Dotson, Mary Sue Fann, Ruth Fann, Betty Tullock and Lillian Carter; brother-in-law: Lee Fann and wife, Bertha; several nieces and nephews; special former daughter-in-law: Karen Fann; and her beautician for 42 years: Lucille Renner.
She was the daughter of the late Hobart and Kitty Dotson and was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Gurney Fann; a brother, Herman Dotson; sisters: Nellie Brown, Peg Barham, Emma Ruth Thornburg, and Rosalee Dean; and a son-in-law, Tony Sutton.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Friday and Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 2 pm Sunday at Mosheim Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Alder, Rev. Daryll Alder, and Rev. Bill Helton officiating.
Interment will follow in Carters Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Andy Foulks, Lanny Hicks, Sammy Brown, Ricky Brown, Austin Jones, Lance Fann, and Tim Fann.
The family wished to express a special thanks to Dr. Montgomery, Dr. Bakshi, Dr. Lurie, Dr. Kfoury, Caris Hospice and their wonderful staff.
