Joyce Lee Cobb

Joyce was a devoted Christian, a dedicated mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, and was loved by all who knew her. She was a member of Faith Temple Church until her health prevented her further attendance, but she never stopped loving and praising her Lord. God and her family were the foundation of her life.

Joyce was an entrepreneur who owned and operated several successful businesses through the 70s-90s. She left her legacy as a strong, independent, brave woman with Christian values for her family and friends. Joyce retired from American Greetings in 2007 after 23 years of service.

Joyce is survived by two daughters, Sherry Rollins and Doris June Cantrell, both of Greeneville. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Kimberly (Jeff) Collins, Shawn Smith, Shannon (Jimmy) Cutshall, Tyler (Kelly) Cobb, Kristen Cobb, and Lee Gosnell. She had 8 great-grandchildren. Special great-grandchildren include Dustin (Leandra) Winter and Breanna (Brandon) Miller.

Joyce is further survived by a large and loving family of brothers and sisters: Jack Boles, Jerry (Juanita) Boles, Bernice Robinson, Ada Wilburn, Ruth (Jimmy) Brobeck, Amagene Pruitt, Imagene Reynolds, and Denny (Jeannie) Cutshall, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

Joyce was the daughter of the late Blain Boles and Wavel (Boles) Gray. She is proceeded in death by her beloved son, Terry Lynn Cobb, her sister Shirley Garrett, her brothers O.V. Boles and Randy Cutshall, and several special nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12-2 pm on Wednesday November 23, 2022, at Kiser Rose Hill Funeral Home. The Funeral service will be held immediately following the receiving of friends in the funeral home chapel with Tommy Collins officiating.

Interment will follow the service in GreeneLawn Cemetery. Prayer and commitment at the graveside will be officiated by her two brothers, Jerry Boles and Denny Cutshall.

Honorary Pallbearers will include her family and friends.
