He was retired from Shipbuilders.
Johnny had a contagious smile and he never met a stranger He loved to fish and camp. He also enjoyed visiting with family and friends. He will be sadly missed by so many.
Survivors include, a special sister-in-law, Clara Montgomery; a very special nephew and his wife, Troy and Lisa Taylor; several other nieces and nephews, Jessie Morgan, Jason Taylor and wife Angie, Linda Stiles and husbad, Mark, Karlyn Holt, Dawn McDonald and Joni Riddle. Also surviving are special cousins, Henry Fannon, Johnny Bowman, Bill Hensley, Dale Hensley, Ronnie Hensley, Clifford Hensley, Sissy Hensley and Rodney Landers; very special great nieces and great nephews, Hayleigh, Brandon and Braylen Taylor whom he loved very much.
He was the son of the late Blanco and Macey Riddle and was preceded in death by two brothers, George “Ellis” Riddle and Billy Riddle.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm in Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 8 pm with Rev. Dolphus Cutshaw and Rev. Claude Davis officiating.
Interment will be on Saturday at 11 am in Union Chapel Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home at 10 am to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers are, Melvin Underwood, David Shelton, Jason Taylor, Terry Broyles, Gary Broyles and Dale Hensley.
Honorary pallbearers are Billy Hensley, Dale Hensley, Clifford Hensley, James Lingenfelter, and friends at Plaza Towers.
