Johnny Paul Darnell

He was a mechanic and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his mother: Judy Darnell; a brother: Jeff Darnell; special uncles and aunts: Carl and Marie Shelton, Robert Shelton, Frances Hammitt, Brenda Pelfree, Jack and Peggy Bryant; and several cousins, including a special cousin: Sandy Loyd.

He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Darnell; grandparents: Elisha and Donnie Shelton and Junior and Blanche Darnell; and an uncle, Ronald Pelfree.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Nick Bailey officiating.

Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Kevin King, Stanley Ball, Stephen Shelton, Todd Shelton, Bryan Shelton, and Robbie Shelton.
