Jo Ann Garrettson

She was a housewife and was of the Baptist tradition of faith.

Survivors include her husband: John Garrettson; four sons and two daughters-in-law: Tim Long of Iowa City, IA; Joe Holt of Johnson City, TN; Mike and Brenda Conner of Powder Springs, GA; James and Mary Garrettson of Moline, IL; three daughters and one son-in-law: Donna Koehn of Minneapolis, MN; Barbara Long of Moline, IL; Tonya and Steven Davis of Greeneville; grandchildren: Vincient, Kevin and Todd Rosenkrans, Tyrone Koehn, Travis Koehn, Natalee Blakely, Timmy Holt, Jody Holt, Melissa Ward, Christy Reynolds, Brendan Garrettson, and Nicholas Moench; several great grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters-in-law: Don Slagle, Ricky and Jennifer Slagle and Teddy and Jackie Slagle all of Bristol, VA; one sister: Phyllis Bryant and husband Kenneth of Green Castle, IN; several nieces and nephews.

She was the daughter of the late Virgil Slagle and Pearl Stout Slagle and was preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Rosenkrans and a son, Timothy Sulteen.

The funeral service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, May 15, 2010, in the Kiser Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Zane Tucker officiating. Interment will follow in the Greystone Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Joe Martin, Bob Conner, Mike Dale, Andy Grepares, Tracy Tucker, Bryan Dodd, Bruce Conner, and Lonnie Tucker.

The family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. Saturday at Kiser- Rose Hill Funeral Home.
