He was owner of Dean Music and Dean Electronics and was also known for his musical talent as a member of the Bybee Beat Band for many years. He was well known for his drag racing and love for a good poker game. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law: Kelly and Roger Davis; son and daughter-in-law: James (Bo) and Holly Dean; two grandsons: Jonathan Davis and Ethan Dean; two granddaughters: Kennedy Dean and Daniella Husain; granddaughter and husband: Jessica and Lance Balzer; brother: Albert Dean; brother and sister-in-law: Danny and Cindy Dean; sister and brother-in-law: Mary and Jim Crum; sisters-in-law: Faye Dean, Melisa Dean, Donna Dean; step father: Emory Depew; several nieces and nephews; and his special friends: Barnes family, Linda Lethco, Larry and Katie Scism, fellow musicians, and racing friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Doss and Lissie Dean; granddaughter: Alexus Dean; grandson: Charles Edwin Dean; mother: Arnon Depew; father: Charles Dean; three brothers: Jerry Dean, Charles Dean, and Danny Judson Dean; and nephew: Jason Dean.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Dr. Chris Metzger and Dr. Robert Berry and the nurses at Patmos.
The family will receive friends from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, a Celebration of Life service will be held at 8:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with family and friends participating.
Interment will be at 2:00 pm Sunday in Cross Anchor Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at 1 pm Sunday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Lee Starnes, Matt Starnes, Cody Gross, Terry Dean, Chris Dean, Brandon Dean, Darrin Fannin, and Roger Carter.
