He was a furniture maker.
Mr. Seay attended McMillian Free Will Baptist Church.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, who loved the Lord and was a friend to all
who knew him.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years: Christine Seay; one son: Tony Seay; two grandchildren: Alexis Seay and Ashton Seay; sisters and brothers-in-law: Linda and Sam Carter, Sandy and Sammy Murdock, all of Mosheim; brothers and sisters-in-law: Bobby and Beverley Seay, Earnest and Janet Seay, all of Midway, Dale and Phyllis Seay of New Mexico; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many special friends.
He was the son of the late Homer and Mary Carter Seay.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 18, 2011, at McMillian FWB Church. Rev. Chris Howell
will officiate. Interment will follow at McMillian Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Stacy Carter, Chad Foulks, Jeremy Seaton, Dustin Carter, Dylan Carter, and J. C. Wampler.
Honorary pallbearers will be all of his special friends, members of the Men’s Sunday School Class at McMillian FWB Church, staff of Smoky Mountain Hospice.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The body will be taken to the church to lie in state one hour before the service. Family and friends are asked to meet at the church for the service.
