She worked for 33 years at East Tennessee Chest Disease Hospital in Knoxville.
Miss Stills was a member of Lord’s Tabernacle Church where she was active in the Ladies Auxiliary.
She was also a member of the Tennessee State Nurses Association.
Miss Stills has been a caregiver most of her life, putting others before herself. She was a very devoted sister and aunt and loved her family unconditionally. She was a friend to everyone she met.
Survivors include one brother and sister-in-law: Rev. Gene and Alyene Stills; a sister and brother-in-law: Gaye and Rev. Buster Shelton; a sister-in-law: Barbara Stills; a special nephew and wife: Darrell and Joyce Stills; a special niece and caregiver: Robin Shepherd and husband, Gary; other nieces and nephews: Mark Shelton of Greeneville, Pam Hoke, Chris Stills, all of Statesville, North Carolina, Kim Feltman of Washington, DC, Melody Murray, Cathy Laws, Faye Willett, Eddie Stills, Mike Rader, Donna Jennings, Irene Hensley and Haskell Stills; several great nieces, great nephews, and cousins; and special friends: Ralph Johnston, Rev. Charles Hutchins, both of Greeneville, Bill Gwaltney of Bean Station.
Miss Stills was born March 3, 1933 to her loving parents, the late Carl and Dora Shipley Stills and was preceded in death by five brothers, Raymond, Mack, Hoover, Linton and Clarence; one sister, Wanda Rader; a niece, Diane Fair; and a nephew, Howard Allan Stills.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 12 noon Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Buster Shelton and Rev. Hubert Metcalf officiating.
Interment will follow in River Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mark Shelton, Rocky Hoke, Darrell Stills, II, Jeffery Stills, Mike Rader, Chad Rader, Chris Stills, and Haskell Stills.
Honorary Pallbearers are Sammy and Peggy Fox, Dr. Richard and Sheila Aasheim and staff, Ralph Johnston and family, Dave Fair and family, the staff of Davita Dialysis Center, Dr. Martin Tran, her special nurses, Heather Akridge, Chasity Waddell, Amedisys Hospice staff, Christine Bryden, P.
