She retired from Laughlin Memorial Hospital.
She was a member of People’s Tabernacle.
Mrs. Ricker was loved by so many who knew her. She loved to cook and take care of her family. She always had kind words for everyone and she will be missed by everyone.
Survivors include four daughters and three sons-in-law: Gayle and Floyd Blackwell of Calhoun, Tennessee, Ruth Palmer of Rogersville, and Janice and Art Love and Kathy and Allan Davis of Greeneville; son: J.D. Ricker of Washington County; sister-in-law: Bula Mae Ricker of Greeneville; grandchildren and spouses: Mike and Beverly Hensley, Jeff Woody, David Ball and Jodi, Eddie Ball, Danny Ball, Terry and Alisha Ricker, Christy and Rodney Luttrell, Mikey Malone, Randall and Tammy Davis, Jesse Davis, Tonya and John Stills, Amanda and Jason Carter, Sondra Hannah, Tammy and Jackie Adams, David and Lisa Ricker, Karen and Mack Thornburg, Dennis Ricker; 32 great grandchildren; 15 great great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and special friends: George and Lethy McCamey and Fred and Ilene Rader.
She was the daughter of the late Jacob and Bessie Cutshaw and was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years: Ersie Ricker; son: Kenneth G. Ricker; four sisters and brothers-in-law: May and Pearl Lowery, Liz and Mack Wattenbarger, Marie and Carl Shipley, Nora and Lee Collins; two brothers: Winford and an infant; and a granddaughter: Lisa Star Woody.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8pm Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11am Saturday, January 4, 2014, in Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Amos Penley and Rev. Gene Swatzell officiating.
Interment will follow in Cedar Creek FWB Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Randall Davis, Randall Allan Davis, Dennis Ricker, David Ball, Jesse Davis, and Brant Davis.
Honorary pallbearers will be the congregation of People’s Tabernacle Church, Dr. Joe Austin and his staff, along with United Health Life Care, and Caris Healthcare.
