She was a homemaker.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include a daughter: Diane Norton of Afton; one son and daughter-in-law: Bill and Stephanie Norton of the Sunnyside community; grandson: Zachary Norton and wife, Amy, of Tallahassee, Florida;
a special granddaughter: Josie Norton of the home; close friend: Joe Norton of Afton; two sisters and a brother-in-law: Louise and Hugh Shelton of Limestone, Rosie McKinney of Rockford, Illinois; one brother: Jack Guire of Johnson City; a special sister-in-law: Wanda Norton of the Sunnyside community; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the daughter of the late Robie and Abbie Hall Guire and was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Davis; and three brothers, Junior, Jim and Arthur Guire.
The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Wednesday and Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8 pm Thursday in the funeral home chapel.
Rev. Lynn Mercer will officiate.
Interment will be 11 am Friday at Horse Creek Church of God Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10 am Friday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery for the committal service.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
