Ginger graduated from Washington College Academy in Limestone, Tennessee. During her working career she was employed by Magnavox, Phillips Consumer Electronics, Circuit Systems of Tennessee, Greene Valley Developmental Center and last by East Tennessee Homes.
When her health permitted, she attended Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church.
Ginger was a very caring and compassionate person. She would help anyone that asked and would give her last dime to someone in need. God really created a very special gift for the world when He made Ginger. She will be missed by family and many more, especially her co-workers and church family.
Survivors include a daughter: Heather Blue Cutshall of Greeneville and her ex-husband, Ronnie Cutshall; grandchildren: Whitney Jade and Terry Orion Pitts of Greeneville; sisters: Audra Dane Booker, Elizabeth Joan Broyles and husband, John, Joyce Aliene Reynolds, all of Greeneville; brother: Billy Joe Booker and wife, Ann Carter, of Johnson City; nieces and nephews: Mark Wood, Crystal Turner, Claudia Crook, Carter Booker, Elizabeth Johnson, Benji Hensley, John Reynolds, Brian Munsey; great nieces and great nephews: Damaris, McKenzie, Ashley, Croydon, Laura, Holly, Kate, Molly, Jack, Jackson and Hayden; and her special friends: Barbara Scott, Pat Hensley, Pam Bledsoe, Debbie Johnston, Nellie Dixon, Sandi Caudill, and all of the ladies that she cared for at East Tennessee Homes.
She was the daughter of the late Bert B. and Margaret Elizabeth Booker and was preceded in death by a brother, Paul E. Booker, sister and brother-in-law, Betty Lou and Noah Crook, and a nephew, Mike Hensley.
The family will receive friends 6-7 pm Wednesday at Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church.
Following visitation, a memorial service will be held at 7 pm at the church with Rev. Jeff Moncier officiating.
During her sickness over the past couple of years, she met lots of medical staff and her family would like to express a special thanks to all those people and especially the doctors, nurses and caregivers at the Holston Valley Medical Center.
