Gene Harold Babb

He was retired.

He attended Union Free Will Baptist Church.

Mr. Babb served 2½ years with the U.S. Army in Germany.

Survivors include an uncle: Homer Babb; aunt: Irene Morrison; several cousins; special friends: Judy and Steve Alsup; and his dog: Sparky.

He was the son of the late Perry Gammons and Dorothy Babb and was preceded in death by a brother, Donald William Babb.

The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8pm Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8pm Saturday, January 11, 2014, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Gary Gass officiating.

Interment will be at 4pm Sunday, January 12, at Doty Chapel Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at 3pm Sunday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery. The Greene County Honor Guard and the Tennessee National Guard will conduct a military graveside service.

His family and friends will be pallbearers.
