Frances McClure

Frances “Fran” McClure, 89, of the St. James Community, passed away at the home of her daughter Vickie on Sunday, April 17, 2022. Frances was retired and attended Mt. Olivet Church of Christ. She was a member of the church of Christ for over 70 years. She was also a member of the D.A.V. auxiliary.

She is survived by one daughter, Vickie Lynn Martin; one son and daughter in law, Doug and Teresa McClure; great grandson, Elijah Rathburn; three sisters, Patsy Ray, Dorothy Kirkpatrick, and Agnes (Robert) Talley; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kemuel McClure; a grandson, Kelly Rathburn; her parents, Sam and Ella Ray; and one brother, Wallace Ray.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00pm Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Kiser Rose Hill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel of Kiser Rose Hill Funeral Home with Milton Mathers officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
