He was self employed. He was the owner of Ernie’s Trikes and retired in 2012.
Mr. Broyles was a member of Liberty Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years: Esther “Sue” Broyles; three daughters and a son-in-law: Debbie and Lewis Kunkel and Sunday Broyles of Greeneville, and Beverly Broyles of Greenville, South Carolina; two sons: Bobby Broyles of Limestone and Mark Broyles of Erwin; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two dogs: Rocky and Baby; and an abundance of special friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Arville and Lenora Toby Broyles; two sons, Kyle Broyles and Ernie Broyles, Jr.; and six sisters.
The family extends a special thanks to all the caregivers who took care of Ernest.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8pm Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8pm Thursday, November 14, 2013 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Amos Penley and Rev. John Buchanan officiating.
Interment will follow at 2pm Friday at Liberty Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at 1pm Friday at the funeral home to go in procession to the committal service. All bikers are welcome!
Pallbearers will be Johnny Nolen, Henry Mathes, Randall Thompson, Wendall Thompson, Ronnie Thompson, and Wallace Thompson.
