She was a homemaker and farmer.
Mrs. Shelton was a member of Cedar Creek Church of God.
She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her children and spouses: Shelby and Ron Holt, Helen and Norman Myers, Frank and Suzie Shelton, Bob Shelton and Frances Gray, Lisa and Bill Wilds, and Mark Shelton; grandchildren and spouses: Jeffrey and Traci Holt, Chris and Karen Myers, Steve and Nicole Myers, Tammy Shelton and Tim Ball, Jason and Traci Wilds, Nathan and Liz Wilds, Hannah Wilds and Nathan Seaton, Anthony and Caroline Shelton, Joshua and Kayla Shelton; great grandchildren: Jeffrey Holt II, Gracie Holt, Sidney Holt, Adam Myers, Katie Myers, Alyssa Myers, Steven Myers, Kaylee Myers, Christen and Trevon Hall, Colin Wilds, Reese Wilds, Avery Wilds, Eric Wilds, Hunter Shelton, Haisley Shelton, Kole Shelton, and Luke Shelton; great-great grandchildren: Hadlee Hall and Tyre Hall; two sisters-in-law: Pauline Solomon and Berta Shelton; brother-in-law: Kenneth Bowers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband: David F. Shelton; parents: Arthur and Lillie Davis; brothers: Ralph, Ross, Howard, and Grady Davis; and sisters: Lady Davis, Edith Bowers, Dovie Ottinger, and Lavice Standifer.
The family will receive friends 2pm-4pm and 6pm – 8pm Sunday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 8:00 pm Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Andy Christiansen officiating.
Interment will be at 10:00 am Monday in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home Monday at 9:00 am to go in procession to the cemetery for the graveside service.
Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Holt, Chris Myers, Steve Myers, Jason Wilds, Nathan Wilds, Anthony Shelton, and Josh Shelton.
Honorary Pallbearers are the Sunshine Sunday School Class of Cedar Creek Church of God, Amedisys Hospice, and the 4th floor nurses at Laughlin Memorial Hospital.
