She retired from Wire Products in Cleveland, Ohio.
Mrs. Parks was a member of Central Baptist – Bearden in Knoxville.
Survivors include one daughter: Anna Ruth Parks of Knoxville; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Ima Dean and Bill Eisenhower of Knoxville, Patsy and Rev. Max Sauls of Greeneville; two brothers and three sisters-in-law: Ross and Nadine Holt, Loyd and Barbara Holt, and Pauline Holt, all of Greeneville; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was the daughter of the late J. C. “Johnny” and Bertha Ellenburg Holt and was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Parks, and one brother, Kyle Holt.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 11 am Friday, September 27, 2013, in the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Max Sauls officiating.
Interment will follow at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Mike Eisenhower, Randy Reynolds, Ryan Holt, Larry Collins, Charley Hawkins and Todd Ellenburg.
Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Williams, Johnny Williams, Dan Westbrook and Eugene Parks.
