Her pain and suffering are gone and now she is rejoicing with her Heavenly Father and family that were waiting for her.
She was a loving, caring, and gentle lady who was always there for her family. Most important, she always put God first in her life – “IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL.” She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.
Edith was a founding member of Central Christian Church where she taught Sunday School for many years.
She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Hattie Wilhoit. She was preceded in death by husbands J. B. Wilson and Al Ransom; brothers, Clark Wilhoit and wife Helen, Lloyd Wilhoit and wife Mary; sisters, Irene Fillers and husband Herb, Dorothy Fry and husband Lawrence. Also preceding her were nieces Judy Wilhoit and Darcus Cox.
Edith is survived by her children, Chris Wilson and Sherry Wilson (Delmas) Curl; granddaughters, Sherice Pack; great grandson, Beaux (Haleigh) Southern, Alex Dickenson and nieces and nephews who cherish her memory.
The funeral service will be conducted Sunday at 2 pm in the chapel of Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home with Chaplain Thomas McRee officiating.
A private interment will be conducted at a later date.
