Dorothy Gillette Gregory

She was a homemaker and a farmer.

Mrs. Gregory was a founding member of Sunrise Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Carolyn and Roger Moore of Mosheim and Iva and Jim Brooks of Mooresburg; grandchildren: Matthew Brooks, Jonathan Moore, Vickie Matson, Kip Painter, and Kaye Lovejoy; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law: Frank and Lucille Gillette of Greeneville; and a sister-in-law: Helen Gregory of Greeneville.

She was the daughter of the late Joe and Martha Gillette and was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan James Gregory; a daughter, Martha Alice Painter; sisters, Lucille Dyer and Martha Davis; and a brother, Albert Gillette.

The family will receive friends 2-5 pm Sunday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 1 pm Monday at Sunrise Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Long officiating. The body will lie in state one hour preceding the service at the church.

Interment will follow in Sunrise Cemetery.
