He retired as a contractor for Parker Hannifin. The family states he was a loving husband and father who loved his family and home. He enjoyed working in his garden and his shop.
His wife of 60 years Mary Morelock; one son and daughter in law, Shane and Terri Morelock; two brothers, James Morelock and Lawrence (Carolyn) Morelock, and several special nieces, nephews and cousins survive him.
He was preceded by one son, Darrell Morelock; parents, Willard and Nellie Mae Morelock; and one sister, Louise Morelock.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2pm Friday in Cross Anchor Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Gibson officiating.
Pallbearers will be Chad Carver, Randy Dunn, Lanny Dunn, James Taylor, Craig Reynolds, and Cody Wagers.
Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:45pm Friday for the graveside service.
