He was retired.
Mr. Belt attended People’s Tabernacle as long as his health permitted.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years: Hilda Malone Belt; daughter and son-in-law: Joyce and Denny Hopson; sister: Flora Travis; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and spouses: Leroy and June Malone, William and Sharon Malone, Mike and Karen Lane, Patsy and Jay Riddle, Delphia Seaton; several nieces and nephews; special friends: Jim and Cindy Walter, Jim and Jeff Holt, Sonny Riddle; and many special neighbors.
He was the son of the late Harve and Annie Belt and was preceded in death by three brothers: Robert, Maynard, and Ray Belt; and two sisters: Gertha Belt and Nona Lee Ricker.
The family extends a special thanks to Dr. Andy Roberts and staff and the staff of ICU at Laughlin Hospital, and the third and fourth floor west staff at Laughlin.
The family will receive friends from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Amos Penley and Rev. Clarence Gammill officiating.
Interment will be at 11am Friday at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10:30am Friday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery for the committal service.
Pallbearers will be Rex Belt, Sonny Riddle, Denny Hopson, Jay Riddle, Joe Shaw, and Gary Gridley.
