He was a member of Flagbranch Church of God.

Claude is survived by his children, Jim Landers of Morristown, Randy Landers of Afton, and Debra Landers (Carroll) Blazer of Mosheim; a sister, Nellie (Roger) Johnson of Greeneville; grandchildren, Melissa Miller, Kevin Landers, Mark Landers, Jamie Landers, and Keith Hipsher; great grandchildren, Breanna Blazer, Ray Frazier, Joshua Landers, Ethan Landers, Maddox Landers, Kristopher Landers, Brooke Hipsher, Katelyn Gibbs, Daniel Yates, Jr., and Dillion Hipsher; and a great-great grandson Arlen Landers. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Joan Landers; his parents, Connie and Elsie Landers; brothers, Tommy Landers, Lawrence Landers, Harold Landers, Douglas Landers, Calvin Landers, and Ralph Landers; sisters, Emily Hackett, Jean Jennings, Ethel Curtis, Irene Gray, and Mary Jackson; and two granddaughters, Cindy Landers and Andrea Frazier.

The family will receive friends between 4pm and 7pm on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The Funeral Service will follow at 7pm in the Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. Allen Payne and Rev. Donald Swatzell.

Interment will be on Friday, June 9, 2023 at 11am in Horse Creek Church of God Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to arrive at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home at 10am to gather in procession.
