He retired from Magnavox after 40 years of service.
Survivors include his wife: Mary Anne Masoner Riddle; brothers and sisters-in-law: Herman and Joyce Riddle and Jay and Patsy Riddle; sisters and brothers-in-law: Mary and Lee Walker, Kate and Max Jones, Eva Johnson and Martha Burkey; sisters-in-law: Von-etta Brannan, Kathy May and husband, Rodney; nephew: Randy Riddle and wife, Nicole; nieces and spouses: Leisa Riddle, Robin and Bill Holland, Lori and Lloyd Knight, Angel and Bob Wagler, Kathy and James White, Lynette and Kevin Laws, Tonya and Chad Minnick, Chastity Franklin, Bridget and Josh Myers; many great nephews and great nieces; special friend: Anthony Jobe; and his pets: Mollie Grace, Gypsy and Pepper.
He was the son of the late Willie and Zollie Riddle and was preceded in death by a twin brother, Lester Riddle; and a nephew, Todd Riddle.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8 pm Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dean Brewster, Rev. Doyle Tunnel, and Rev. Jeff Daughtery officiating.
Interment will be at 2 pm Friday in River Hill Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at 1 pm Friday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bill Holland, Dustin Holland, Brandon Holland, Randy Riddle, Lloyd Knight, James White, Kevin Laws, Bob Wagler, Samuel Riddle, Seth Riddle, Luke Jones, Daniel White, Chad Minnick, and Zachary Minnick.
The family wished to express a special thanks to Dr. Katherine Gray and staff, and to the staff of Amedisys Hospice.
Family and friends are asked to meet at 1 pm Friday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
