He retired from the U.S. Army, having served in Vietnam, Dominican Republic, France, Great Britain, Germany, and Italy.
Mr. Fox was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. and a member of the Moose Lodge.
Survivors include a daughter: Margaret Fox; son and daughter-in-law: Charles and Shari Fox; granddaughters: Jordan Millern, Samantha Millern, Jessica McKay, and Payton Fox; brother and sister-in-law: James and Delores Fox; and his ex-wife: Diane Fox.
He was the son of the late Lawrence Albert and Agnes Walters Fox.
The family will receive friends from 4pm-6pm Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 6pm in the funeral home chapel with Father John Dukes officiating.
Interment will be at 10am Thursday, November 13 at Andrew Johnson National Cemetery. The Greene County Honor Guard and the Tennessee National Guard will conduct a military graveside service. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 9:30am Thursday to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
