Carrie B. Lowery

She retired as a cook from Mosheim Elementary School.

Mrs. Lowery was a member of Mosheim Central United Methodist Church.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who had a beautiful smile that we will sadly miss.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Judy and Terry Renner of Mosheim; granddaughter and spouse: Charity and Michael Ramsey of St. Clair; great granddaughter and spouse: Courtney and Rusty Turner of Russellville; step granddaughter and spouse: Shanna and Scott Howard of Aiken, South Carolina; one brother: Gene Collins of North Carolina; several nieces and nephews; and her special friends and neighbors: Pat and David Starnes and family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert B. Lowery; her parents: Bertie and Pat Collins; and several brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8pm Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8pm Thursday, August 1, 2013, in Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Lew Kizer and Rev. Faith Ramer officiating.

Interment will follow at 1pm Friday at Mosheim Central Cemetery. Family and friends are requested to meet at the funeral home Friday at 12:00pm to go in procession to the committal service.

Pallbearers will be Terry Renner, Michael Ramsey, Rusty Turner, Brandon Sams, John Daugherty, Sherman Starnes, Andy Starnes, Byron Randolph, David Starnes, and Jacob Berryhill.

Honorary pallbearers will be nieces and nephews and members of Mosheim Central United Methodist Church.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Amedisys Home Health, Amedisys Hospice and Dr. Phillip Thwing, Dr. Charles Montgomery and staff, Dr. Mandeep Bakshi and staff, and Dr. A.K. Sen and staff.
