Carolyn E. Miller

She retired from Hurd Lock after 38 years of service.

Mrs. Miller was a member of Amity Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include one brother and two sisters-in-law: Drew and Patsy Wells and Carolyn Wells of Greeneville; special niece: Keema Wells of Greeneville; special nephews: Dwayne Wells and spouse Ruth, Johnny Miller, and Jeffery Miller; special great niece: Nicolle Wells; two brothers-in-law: Lyle Miller and spouse Patricia, Keith Miller and spouse Wanda; and several other nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

She was the daughter of the late John C. and Norman G. Fillers Wells and was preceded in death by her husband: Bobby Miller; and brother: David Wells.

The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8pm Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8pm Saturday, October 5, 2013 in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Dan Donaldson, Rev. Jackie Riddle, Rev. Carol Baird, and Rev. John Catts officiating.

Interment will follow at 2:30pm Sunday at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. It is requested that family and any friends who would like to join the family to go in procession to the committal service, meet at 2:00pm Sunday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Dwayne Wells, Ronnie Wilhoit, Johnny Miller, Jeffery Miller, Joe Byrd, John Jarnagin, and Bobby Wells.

Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Wells, John Burley, Lyle Miller, Jack Johnson, Linnie Gillespie, Keith Miller, George Fillers, Glendon Ottinger, Jay Riddle, Carl Duncan, Lee Walker, Mark Roberts, Arlin Bowers, Hugh Wells, Bobby G. Wells, Hattie Wykle, Wilma Tweed, Fayetta Jones, Ruth Gilliam, Oscar Payne, Douglas Payne, Matthew Hensley, Dr. Brad Strange, staff and nurses of 4th floor East at Laughlin Memorial Hospital, staff and nurses at Laughlin Healthcare Center, nurses and staff of Caris Hospice, and member of the Meet and Greet Group.

In lieu of food and flowers, it is requested that memorials be made to Amity Presbyterian Church, in care of Betty Burley, 2920 Whirlwind Road, Greeneville, TN 37743.
