She had retired from MECO.
Mrs. Dunbar was a member of the Church of God.
Survivors include her husband: Marion William Dunbar; two daughters and a son-in-law: Ronda Penley of the South Central Community and Susie and Adam Hensley of Six Mile, South Carolina; two sons and daughters-in-law: William and Carole Dunbar and Randy and Renee Dunbar of Greeneville; grandchildren: Amanda and Jason Parker of North Carolina, Brock Dunbar, Brianne Reynolds, and Codey Dunbar of Greeneville, Brittany and Justin Rhodes of Pickens, South Carolina, and Travis Hensley of Six Mile, South Carolina; great grandchildren: Kane Parker, Kielee Dunbar, Zanna Parker, Paisley Dunbar, and Scarlett Rhodes; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Tammy and Porter Crittenden of Whitesburg, Tennessee and Lisa and Sonny Miller of Mosheim; several nieces and nephews, including a special niece: Karen Buttry; and her special friends: Betty Derey, Johnny Widener, Dallas and Gayle Hughes, and Sam and Barbara Scott.
She was the daughter of the late Maurice and Barbara Fox and was preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Dunbar; two brothers, James and Paul Fox; a sister, Sallie Mae Fox; son-in-law: Doug Penley; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Willie and Pearl Dunbar.
The family will receive friends from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm Monday and Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 8:00pm Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Lynn Mercer officiating.
Interment will be at 11:00am Wednesday in Union Chapel Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10:00am Wednesday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery for the committal service.
Pallbearers will be Brock Dunbar, Codey Dunbar, Travis Hensley, Randy Dunbar, William Dunbar, and Adam Hensley.
Honorary pallbearers will be the ICU staff of Laughlin Memorial Hospital.
