He worked at both Minco and Miller Industries.
He loved to keep busy working on engines and tinkering with things.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Lisa Fox and Dustin Willis of Afton; son and daughter-in-law: Billy Dwayne and Kathy Fox of Cleveland, Tennessee; mother: Bessie Fox of Midway; grandsons: Nicholas Ryan Beach of Afton and Matthew Dwayne Fox of Cleveland, Tennessee; sister and brother-in-law: Diane and Steve Brown of Midway; brothers and sisters-in-law: Dennis and Phyllis Fox of Greeneville and Gary and Jan Fox of Mosheim; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was the son of the late Clifford Fox.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home preceding the funeral service at 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Roger Ealey will officiate.
Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Midway. It is requested that family and friends meet at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Thursday to go in procession to the committal service.
His pallbearers will be Anthony Franklin, Jerry “Pup” Coakley, John Devoti, Rick Blake, Richard Fox, Dennis Fox, and Zahnie McCaslin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Lisa to help defer funeral expenses at 230 Fairview Road, Afton, TN 37616.
