Billie Jo Carter Cox

She was a member of Bales Chapel United Methodist Church.

She was very devoted to her family, friends and church.

Survivors include her husband: James “Jimmy” Cox; two daughters and sons-in-law: Malessa and Doug Mason and Myra and Gerald Robinson, all of Knoxville; grandchildren: Claire Williams and husband, Donald, Zachary Mason, Alayna Robinson, Leah Robinson and fiancé, Ryan Barrett ; special nieces: Linda Edwards and husband, Carl, April Jo Jones and husband, Blaine; and special nephews: Bill Collins and wife, Kay, Lynn Collins and wife, Debbie.

The family will receive friends 12-2 pm Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 2 pm Thursday in the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel. Rev. Jim Fain and Rev. Dixie Miller will officiate.

Interment will follow at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.

The family wished to express a special thanks to the doctors and staff on 4 west and ICU at Laughlin Memorial Hospital and to Mack Matthews and Bobby Malone for their care and commitment.
